The V12 Vantage was first announced in early 2008, with the V12 Vantage RS due for mid-2009.
Features included an all new rear diffuser, adjustable rear spoiler, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
To decrease weight the boot and custom vented bonnet are made from carbon fibre.
Aston Martin announced in 2011 that they would build a GT3 racing version of V12 Vantage, which would replace the outgoing DBRS9. The car appeared a year later.
